 Australia

I fell in love with this country from the moment I set foot on the dry earth.

Australia is a vast continent.

The boundless space, pale blue skies, and warm sunshine.

It reminds me of my childhood in Kenya where I enjoyed never ending blue skies.

This collection depicts some of the more typical Australian iconic features that are representative of this beautiful land.

Coastal

The Indian Ocean coastline is a dreamy place with tepid, turquoise waters,

white sand beaches and tropical palm trees blowing in the warm air.

 Equine Portrait Collection

The Equine series is an elegant collection of horse portraits with a clean, bold studio style.

The horse’s powerful physiques have an air of regal distinction with strong, architectural elegance.

India

India is one of my favourite continents. Laced in history, you can smell it in the stonework.

A diverse and mystical country of extremities and duality.

Ancient forts, palaces, holy rivers, and slums, are a paradise for the senses with intoxicating beauty and colour .

I spent hours with my camera, drinking chai with locals, immersing myself in the raw visual stories that were playing out before my eyes.

After 3 months of traveling solo, I still hadn’t soaked it all up. So intense is my love affair with India that I’ll always be drawn back into her enchanting embrace.

Burning Man

The largest Arts festival on Earth takes place in a hot desert in Nevada.

I always come away visually inspired and in awe of all of the ideas that led to the engineering of such genius, and creative expression.

I hope these photos reveal to you some of the beauty and magic that exists on the desert canvas of Burning Man.

 Omo Valley Tribes

This collection showcases the beauty and diversity of the indigenous communities of the Omo valley in Ethiopia.

My journey to find the Suri tribe took 3 days of driving from Addis Ababa to the remote Upper Omo valley bordering South Sudan. It was a 10-day expedition that tested my survival skills in ways I could never have imagined. During the trip, I had a dangerous ordeal in which I was stranded for 6 days in the middle of the bush with just the clothes on my back.

It was one of the most intense, and traumatic experiences of my life. When I finally got myself to safety I decided to stay on in the Lower Omo valley and keep shooting. Looking back I don’t know how I didn’t give up and get out of there. The images I took after my ordeal ended up on CNN and went around the world, printed in various magazine publications, I got an 8-page spread in Pro-Photo magazine and a front cover as well as being published in African Geo. My Omo images seemed to embody more depth than my other work & I believe it’s because I went through my own personal Rite of Passage while there having immersed myself in the story of the land and its people rather than only taking photos.

IN AFRICA…Everywhere you looked was made for greatness - Karen Blixen

This body of work captures a deep appreciation of the tribes living in northern Kenya.

 SALT

The only constant is change.

Salt series is a collection of images reflecting what the ocean reveals to me, in it’s forever changing state.

I’m in awe of her graceful waves, her turbulent seas, and her calm, serene beauty.

 USA

A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words - Ansel Adams

The more I travel in America the more I’m awestruck by the vastness of the natural landscape, it makes me feel insignificant as a human in comparison.

Being immersed in nature there is like stepping into an Ansel Adams photograph. Ansel Adams was regarded as one of America’s greatest wilderness photographers.

 Wildlife & Mixed Media Collection

I LOVE not man the less but nature more - Lord Byron

Included in this wildlife collection is my mixed media art series which are statement pieces to bring awareness to the threats facing endangered species.
